Hello, I'm Beth, formerly known as Scriptos and owner/editor of Titanic Stories. I am a twenty-five year old web designer/developer currently from the Washington DC area. I've lived in a lot of different places: Massachusetts, Rhode Island, New Jersey, Pennsylvania, DC and Virginia in the States, France, Belgium and Switzerland in Europe. I also love to travel and have traveled around Europe with my family and alone quite a bit.

I graduated from Smith College, Northampton MA, in 1996 where I majored in French with a minor in history. Languages and history are long-standing passions of mine and heavily influenced my decision to write the Titanic-inspired stories that are posted at "Before and After." Last fall I began a graduate program in history at American University, but was forced to withdraw for financial reasons, so I've only complete one semester so far. I'll get back to it before long though and eventually, become a history professor!

The history of the ship, the Edwardian era and the eras following are all quite fascinating to me -- my goal was to try to bring these to life through Rose's eyes in my writing.
