A little about yourself :
Hello, my name is Barbara. I'm 32, and I live in Ljubljana, Slovenia.
I'm married, with no kids or pets, with a BA in architecture and with three different jobs as set and costume designer for theatre, architect and graphic designer. My main interests include travel, history, reading and movies.I have always been interested in Titanic, but when I saw the movie, I became fascinated with the character of Rose, and I subsequently read much of fan-fiction out there. I had some plot ideas of my own early on, but it was Beth's and Jill's work that inspired me to develop them further even though I never intended to put them on paper.When I finally decided to write myself, it was more or less to see if I was able to pull it off rather than to try and post it. I hadn't even spoken English much since high school and I have certainly never written anything in it. Still, once I got favorable response, it encouraged me and I eventually started to write more.Even though I realize that my stories are considered to be an »alternate plotline«, I prefer to think of them just as a »what-if« story.After a while I decided to post some artwork, too – something else I haven't done since high school, I might add. So far, I have mostly done only different portraits of Rose through the years, but I plan to expand the gallery with other drawings when time allows. The best part of my writing experience has definitely been meeting other writers and readers via e-mail, so I would like to take this opportunity to thank everyone who has been kind enough to a-mail me with their comments and encouragement.All my stories are posted at Titanic Stories, and you can find my artwork at the Before and After Gallery.
