A little about yourself:
I live in Sydney Australia. I am 14
years old and enjoy dancing and playing netball. I am
very short and have blonde hair and blue eyes. I am in
year 9 at school and absolutely LOVE Titanic. I have been
writing the story " Rose Down Under." I have
based this story in Australia as obviously I live there.
I found it hard to write about a country I am not really
sure of, so I thought it would be smarter to actually
write about a place I know. I thought a lot of people
would be interested to find out about things in
Australia, so throughout my story I have a few references
to plants and animals and other important stuff. It is
amazing how many people believe we ride kangaroos to
school and have koalas living in our backyards. Now and
then you see kangaroos in the bush, and once I have been
attacked by one in the zoo, but that's about it. In the
next few chapters I am about to write, I hope to include
situations one of my cousins, who is a fisherman and
crocodile hunter, has been in. In the picture I have
included I am the one on the left and my friend Denise is
on the right. I hope you learn a bit about Australia from
my story and I also hope you enjoy it.
